I possess a relevant civil engineering education, specialising in water supply and waste water systems, extending to a Ph.D in hydraulics and over 20 years’ professional experience covering the full project cycle in the fields of water supply, sanitation and hydrology.

In year 2004 I established my own small scale consultancy company- GoingAhead. The main body of my work is conducted within the context of large water supply and sanitation reform programmes implemented throughout Eastern Europe, Caucasus, CIS and Turkey. The projects have mostly been with a view to approaching EU standards or adjusting systems to improved standards in developing countries.
